This was so funny--the sand castle sculptor used Sawyer's arm to illustrate how to form a bridge. Of course he had to make it funny, so he started by slopping wet sand on Sawyer's feet. Then he sculpted a little, and then he slopped a bunch of sand on his arm. Sawyer looked down at his shirt and said, "Hey, Dad, take my hat!!" I half-expected him to be covered in sand myself!
Darcy carved--what else??--a shark!!
He's a natural!
Randy made the two-headed giant from Jack the Giant Slayer. I haven't seen the film myself, but the kids all agreed it was a pretty good likeness!
At the beach for an early morning turtle release!
