Dallas World Aquarium

Just stopping in to say a quick "Hi" and to post a few pictures from the first day of our vacation. This has been my first real opportunity to get to my computer because we have closed down Six Flags the last two days. The park technically closes at 10:00 but some of the ride operators evidently consider closing time a fluid concept, so we didn't get home until about 11:00 each night, and consequently into bed until midnight! I'll post about S.F. later--there's lots to tell about those two days, I assure you! Anyway, we took it slightly easier today--our morning was killed with two ortho appointments so in the afternoon we went and bowled for about 2-1/2 hours, played a few arcade games, went and got some dinner and then watched a movie. Believe it or not, the kids were unanimous in their decision to call it a day a little earlier than they've been used to!

As the title indicates, we spent the first day of our vacation at the Dallas World Aquarium. We visited here several summers ago with my brother and his family and the kids couldn't wait to go back. So without further ado, Day One:

Going in for a smooch?

Built-in dental floss

Give me some supper already!

Just not of the metal variety, thank you very much!

Cool double image of Sawyer

Just swimming by to say hello!

Looking down through the shark tank

Celebrating Mayan culture

Are we having fun yet?

Look out, Peyton!

Tomato frog

BEAUTIFUL chameleon

Wake me up when we get home
